Construction Work - Line T3 : Phase 2

From Monday, August 3, through Sunday, August 9, service on the T3 line will be disrupted due to construction work on the future T9 tram line.

 

The T3 line no longer serves the Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie station in the direction of Meyzieu. We recommend that you use the Bel Air – Les Brosses or Décines Roosevelt stations.

 

On Thursday, August 6, and Sunday, August 9, tram lines T3 and T7, as well as Rhônexpress, will experience service disruptions in the evening due to construction work on the future T9 tram line.

Before 9:15 p.m., Line T3 is operating normally from Gare Part-Dieu Villette to Meyzieu Les Panettes.

  • Departure of the last full trip from Gare Part-Dieu Villette to Meyzieu Les Panettes: 9:16 p.m.

  • Departure of the last complete trip from Meyzieu Les Panettes to Gare Part-Dieu Villette: 8:37 PM

Starting at 9:15 p.m., the T3 line is no longer running.

How to get around whent the line isn't running?

BRT3 Bus

We provide shuttle buses that operate on two routes, from Reconnaissance – Balzac to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie and from Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie to Meyzieu ZI.

From Reconnaissance – Balzac to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie

Buses serve the following stops in both directions: Reconnaissance – Balzac, Place Ronde, Bel Air – Les Brosses, and Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie.

  • First departure from Reconnaissance – Balzac to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie: 9:41 p.m.
  • First departure from Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie to Reconnaissance – Balzac: 9:01 p.m.
  • One departure every 20 minutes
  • Last departure from Reconnaissance – Balzac to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie: 12:37 a.m.
  • Last departure from Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie to Reconnaissance – Balzac: 12:23 a.m.

From Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie to Meyzieu ZI

The buses serve the following stops in both directions: Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, Décines Roosevelt, Décines Centre, Décines Esplanade, Meyzieu Gare, Meyzieu Charles de Gaulle, Meyzieu Lycée Beltrame, and Meyzieu ZI.

  • First departure from Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie to Meyzieu ZI: 9:40 p.m.
  • First departure from Meyzieu ZI to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie: 8:54 p.m.
  • One departure every 20 minutes
  • Last departure from Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie to Meyzieu ZI: 12:54 a.m.
  • Last departure from Meyzieu ZI to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie: 11:53 p.m.

How do I get to stations not served by the shuttle bus?

To get to the Dauphiné – Lacassagne station :

From the Reconnaissance–Balzac station:

We invite you to board the Reconnaissance – Balzac stop on the Tb12 line heading toward Gare Part-Dieu Vivier Merle (8 cours Richard Vitton, 69003 Lyon). Get off at the Rouget de l’Isle stop (165 avenue Felix Faure, 69003 Lyon); and the Dauphiné - Lacassagne station is a 3-minute walk away.

From the Gare Part-Dieu Villette station:

We invite you to meet us at the La Villette stop, located a 9-minute walk away (3 Avenue Lacassagne, 69003 Lyon), and take line C13 toward Grange-Blanche.

To get to the Gare Part-Dieu Villette station:

From the Reconnaissance – Balzac station:

We invite you to get off at the Reconnaissance – Balzac stop on Line C9 heading toward Bellecour A. Poncet (8 cours Richard Vitton, 69003 Lyon) and get off at the Georges Pompidou stop. The Gare Part-Dieu Villette station is a 3-minute walk away.

From the Dauphiné - Lacassagne station:

We recommend taking Line C13 toward Montessuy Gutenberg to the Dauphiné Lacassagne stop (47 avenue Lacassagne, 69003 Lyon), then getting off at the Gare Part-Dieu Vivier Merle stop. The Gare Part-Dieu Villette station is a 5-minute walk away.

The Meyzieu Les Panettes station is not served by shuttle buses; it is a 5-minute walk from the Meyzieu ZI station.
