How and why should you validate your TCL card?
To be in good standing, TCL network subscribers must validate their TCL card by presenting it in front of the validators embarked on buses and streetcars or at the toll booths placed at the entrances to metro stations.
It is also validation that controls the opening of metro access control gates in stations equipped with them (note that your card can only control opening once).
Like all transport tickets, a TCL card must be validated at every line change, including connections. Only connections from one metro line to another are exempt from validation.
Beware, failure to validate your card may result in a fine.
